Happy\u00a0Halloween\u00a0folks, it makes me very happy indeed to bring you some spooktaculer news regarding a new factory set that features some\u00a0horrificlly\u00a0good art!<\/p>\n

\"\"Stunningly Savage is a set bringing Rick Meltons fantastic art to cardboard. If you like Horror then you\u00a0probably\u00a0already know of Rick, his work adorns countless DVD covers,\u00a0Magazines\u00a0and Books (along with\u00a0mouse-mats, mugs, t-shirts and a host of other\u00a0tasteless\u00a0junk<\/del> high quality\u00a0merchandise\u00a0for the\u00a0discerning\u00a0collector!). Little bits of cardboard seem like a natural fit, and a good way for him to make some quick cash selling the same old images again.<\/del> and a fantastic way to bring his art to a whole new\u00a0audience!<\/p>\n

Seriously\u00a0though his stuff is\u00a0awesome\u00a0and we are very pleased to be able to bring some of his paintings into the trading card market.<\/p>\n

This limited factory set will\u00a0contain\u00a0some\u00a0brilliant\u00a0images along with some very cool chase cards, but we cant tell you about it all just yet. Yes there WILL be some limited sketches, including a random\u00a0smattering\u00a0of his one of a kind oil panted cards and a few of his\u00a0ultra fine\u00a0detail pencil sketches, like this one.\u00a0\"\"<\/p>\n

Your first chance to hold a sample of this new series will come in November at the UK Memorabilia convention, when we\u00a0distribute\u00a02\u00a0awesome\u00a0promo cards. We will be set up and handing out P2 which you can see below. \"\"This is half of an image, in order to obtain the FULL image you need to stop by and visit the nice folks at the NonSport Update table, who will have a limited amount of P1 cards! They have come a long way so go see them and subscribe to there wonderful mag. You can see the P1 card on the NSU Blog <\/a><\/p>\n

Rick Melton will not be at the show but he will have some cards after the event, and you can (read should) check out his NSFW site\u00a0stunninglysavage<\/a> to see more of his work. You can also (warning\u00a0shameless\u00a0plug) \u00a0head over to his other also NSFW shop stunninglysavage-tshirts<\/a> and find a lot of his stuff on shirts and mugs. \u00a0Thats right you two can drink from a mug featuring a half naked woman holding the\u00a0severed\u00a0head of a man. \u00a0Tasteful… The gift that says it may not be safe for you to play with others…<\/p>\n

We are working very very hard to try and get this set out before\u00a0Christmas\u00a0but it may slip to Jan. More details will be coming out in the next few days and pre-orders on this will be\u00a0essential\u00a0as we are producing less than 750 sets, all of which will be numbered.<\/p>\n

Keep your eyes open for for more news and perhaps an extra card or two coming out in the next few weeks….<\/p>\n

Oh and we better mention this now, like most of Ricks work this set is intended for adult collectors, the images and subject\u00a0matter\u00a0are not\u00a0suitable\u00a0for anyone….. under the age of 18, the set will contain nudity and as one would expect with horror art,\u00a0violence\/gore.
